C.H.SD.ST.Theresas College for Women (A), Eluru is Ranked under General ( Non-Technical) Band-Performer by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA)an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India in an e-Release of ARIIA 2021 Report by Honorable Minister of State for Education Dr.Subhas Sarkar.
ARIIA 2021 classifiedthe participating institutions into two major categories; Technical and Non-technicalin each category assigned a band of either ‘Outstanding’ ‘Excellent’ ‘Performer’, ‘Promising’ or ‘Beginner’ were awarded to encourage the effort and participation in ARIIAand C.H.SD.ST.Theresas College for Women (A), Eluru received Band-Performer.
The main objective ARIIA program is to promote and support the students in innovation and encourage the culture of Entrepreneurial start-up ecosystem.C.H.SD.ST.Theresas College for Women (A), Eluru participated in multiple programs such as mentorship, orientation program and start-up supporting activities through The Institution Innovation Council(IIC) of the college under the leadership of Chairperson Dr.Sr.Marietta D’Mello and Vice-Chairperson Dr.Sr.Showrillu for which the college received 4-Star status.
Ch.S.D.St.Theresa’s College is rated in Band ‘A’ (All India Rank 6th-25th) by ARIIA-Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, Ministry of Education, Government of India under Govt. and Govt. Aided College/Institutes Category.
Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has initiated ‘Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA)’ to systematically rank education institutions and universities primarily on innovation related indicators. ARIIA considers all major indicators which are commonly used globally to rank most innovative education institutions/ universities in the world.
ARIIA ranking now getting a wide acceptance among India HEIs and it will certainly inspire Indian institutions to reorient their mind-set and build ecosystems to encourage high quality research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Moreover, ARIIA aims at setting direction for institutions for future development for making them globally competitive and in forefront of innovation.
