Nutrition & Dietetics is an exceptionally broad discipline encompassing specialties as diverse as Biotechnology, as large as Microbiology, as deep as Biochemistry and as healthy as quality of human life. Research in life science brings home nutritious food, healthy life, reduced risk of diseases, immunology boosters etc., so encouragement in life science makes eco-friendly even for future generations that will be inherited forever.

since its inception of autonomy,in 1985` is strong and always introduces experimental and innovative curriculum into the course.Nutrition and Dietetics is one of the fields in medical science that helps to keep individuals fit. There are various programmesoffered at graduate as well as postgraduate levels. The programmes covers diverse subjects like human physiology and nutrients, Diet therapy, Food service management, Nutritional Biochemistry that are required by the body. Food technology and biochemistry are an essential part of the programme.These courses enable individuals to create a diet plan and help individuals as well as members of an organization to follow a proper diet to keep themselves fit. There are various opportunities in this field and a lot of scope for private clinics as well.

There are different types of dietitian positions: clinical dietitians, community dietitians, management dietitians, and consultant dietitians. Each of these positions offers different career options, such as food nutrition services in hospitals, nutrition counseling in public health agencies and fitness clubs or clinical management in food service systems.
