July 10th- Tree plantation was done by the members of Eco club. The Eco club students planted 50 saplings taken from the Forest Department.
Anemia Eradication Programme
July 4th and 6th- Mega health camp was organized in association with ASRAM Medical college. 10 Doctors and 10 technicians have conducted the camp.
2,500 students from III and II years were screened in various departments like General medicine, Dental, ENT, Eye, Dermatology, Ortho, ECG and all haematological tests.
Severely ill health and Anaemic students were identified and refered them to ASRAM Medical college.

Health Checkup
26-11-2019- Health camp was organized in association with MEDALL -SASH Health screening. 3 technicians have conducted the camp.
Teaching and Non Teaching staff and outers were screened in 57 tests.
Vanam Manam Programme
Eco club staff members and student members participated and organized vanam manam by plantation of 50 saplings in the campus.
July-16th- eco club students of II years are doing their Eco club activities includes watering the plants and cleaning our college campus.
National Deworming Day
The National Deworming Day was observed on 19th August,2019 by the students and faculty of Department of Zoology,headed by Dr.R.Indira 110 students from III B.Sc.BZC&ZNC were benefitted by the programme.Ms.T.Sri Kavya gave an introduction about the importance of observation of the day.
Ms.A.Christiana created awareness to the students through Power Point Presentation.
She explained about the meaning of deworming,common unhygienic behaviours in the community through which the worms spread.
She gave a detailed account on the type of parasite,disease caused by it,mode of transmission,pathogenecity of some common parasites like Ascaris, Ancylostom, Trichiuris,Taenia,Wucheraria ,to mention a few.
She explained about the impact of worms on children’s education and long term productivity and suggested preventing measures for worm infection,the most commonly used one being Albendazole tablets.
She concluded her talk by narrating the benefits of deworming.
